Earn that martini!  Being in the midst of holiday season, holiday parties come up that you must attend on any given day of the week.  And yes, this brings tasty little bites and luscious libations that become almost impossible to pass up.  With party food and drinks looking so festive and appealing, the hundreds (or thousands) of calories become almost nonexistent in your thoughts.  On top of that, your party-packed schedule makes it very easy to pass up on your regular workouts. Unfortunately, this combo can lead to the “Holiday Season Weight Gain”. BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO!  All it takes is 20-30 minutes per day to avoid the “holiday bloat” and have the ability to enjoy yourself at every party!

WORK IT OUT:

Warm Up:

  • 50 jumping jacks
  • 50 high knees
  • 50 tush kicks
  • 25 weathervane hops (North, South, East, West)

CIRCUIT: Repeat 3x

  • 20 Star jumps (start in squat and jump off ground spreading all limbs)
  • 20 Pushups (10 each knee), knee to shoulder crunch
  • 20 (each leg) Single leg deadlift (keep other leg off floor at all times)
  • 20 Pushup to standing jump knee tuck
  • 25 V-sit ups
  • 40 (total), squat to side kicks
  • 2 minute arm circles (front 1min, back 1min)
