Finding appetizing yet healthful foods to eat while pregnant can be difficult, to say the least. You aim to get in the best nutrients for your growing little peanut, but I know, the sight of a single food can steal your appetite in a second! For the majority of us preggos, I think it’s safe to say that carbs and cheese are manageable. Knowing that, I took it a step further to ensure you get the best kind of carbs and cheese, instead of going for nutrient deficient options that will only help you gain unnecessary, uncomfortable weight. So here, I’ve married SIMPLICITY and TASTE just for you 🙂
MELTED CHIPOTLE CHEESE & CRACKERS
- 1 serving of my go-to crackers: Almond Multi-Seeds Crackers (filled with flaxseeds)
- 1/4 cup, organic low mozzarella cheese (it’s calcium-packed, ladies)
- Chipotle Chile Spice (for a special zing of flavor)
*Spread crackers on a plate, sprinkle cheese and lightly dash spice on top. Microwave for 30-40 seconds and BAM! Best snack. Otherwise, pre-heat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 2-3 minutes. Doritos got nuthin’ on these!!!
