C’mon, who doesn’t like a peanut butter and banana combo?! I always tend to crave a peanut butter/banana/chocolate madness. This craving sparked me to create a fulfilling, filling, and super healthy pot to make you say “OMG” with each warm spoonful. Although I did not include any form of chocolate in this recipe, feel free to get devilish and sprinkle a few dark cacao chips on top.
Enjoy a bowl of the oatmeal either in the morning, or pre-workout. Every single ingredient included provides mega health benefits. I always make sure to fuel you with the best of the best, because I love you all!
Slow cooker: Low for 6 hours (I sleep longer than 6 hours, so my slow cooker turns to the “warm” setting after the 6 hours is up).
Makes 4-6 servings
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup 30calorie almond milk
- 3 mashed bananas
- heaping 1/4 cup natural Peanut Butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Maca Powder
- 10 shakes of cinnamon
